Rosias Dufaut, 89 of Boston, Massachusetts, passed away from heart failure on Wednesday, July 7, 2021. Rosias lived a fulfilling life as a husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was a devout Chrisitian and a member of the First Hatian Baptist Church of Boston since 1985 when he moved to the United States from La Vallee De Jacmel, in Haiti. He loved singing and spending time talking with his family and friends. Rosias is survived by his wife of 64 years, Annilise Dufaut, their six sons: Esperance Dufaut, Serge Dufaut, Leonel Dufaut, Julien Dufaut, Emmanuel Dufaut and Edvard Dufaut along with their wives and children. He is preceded in death by his parents Dorevil Dufaut and Carilie Lauture of La Vallee De Jacmel, Haiti, and his son Roger Dufaut of Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he knew and loved. Those wishing to honor his life can attend his viewing from 6:30-8 pm on Friday, July 16, 2021, at Joseph Russo Funeral Home, and his funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Tabernacle Baptist Congregation, both in Roslindale, MA.
