June Catherine Sheehan, 68, of Londonderry, NH passed away Wednesday July 7, 2021 at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH after a lengthy battle with cancer. June was born March 9, 1953 in Dorchester, MA, a daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Poskis) Haley. She was raised and educated in Everett, MA and was a long-time resident prior to relocating to Londonderry in 1985.
June had been an employee of Shaw’s for 35 years, as a florist and floral manager. She had a lifelong love for flowers. She loved the beach and ocean as well as working out in the yard. She will always be remembered for her “morning Pepsi” and her love for her granddaughter Ava. June enjoyed the time she spent with Ava on their many adventures to the park or the beach. Most of all, she was enjoying watching Ava grow up.
Members of the family include her daughter, Jennifer C. Sheehan, her son and his wife, Robert M. and Kim Sheehan and her only grandchild Ava Pickering. June was predeceased by her beloved husband of 43 years Robert J. Sheehan in 2019.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday July 13th from 4 to 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday July 14th at 10:30am at St. Mark the Evangelist Church, 1 South St., Londonderry. The burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm Street, Everett, MA. Covid-19 Restrictions have been relaxed, however; at the family’s request, visitors to the funeral home are still asked to observe social distancing wherever possible during services.
