Diane Wheatley, 65, of Bellingham died June 24 peacefully at the Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.
She was born in Maine on November 25, 1955, the daughter of Mark and the late Carol (Johnson) Crowley.
She is survived by her son, James Wheatley of Colorado Springs. She was the mother of the late Alyssa Ann Segal.
Diane is also survived by her brother John Crowley of Maine, and her sister Lisa Crowley of Nevada, as well as her grandchildren, Jewelliet & Christopher Segal, and Chloe Ann, Penelope Nhu, Scarlett Mai, & James Myles Wheatley.
Diane had been a been a quality control technician for Cognex Corporation for several years. She also spent time as a homemaker, and most recently a driving aid for people with disabilities.
She loved to go on vacations (using her time share), going down to Lake Hiawatha, and getting updates on all her grandchildren.
Anyone that knew her would say she had the biggest heart, and a very unique laugh. She spent the last years always making sure her grandchildren had everything they needed, sending birthday and Christmas gifts every year.
Diane was truly loved by all.
Her Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, July 16 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main St. Franklin, MA between 5 - 7pm.
