Charlotte J. McCoy, 93, lifelong Anderson resident, passed away on June 19, 2021 at The Palms of Sebring in Sebring, Florida.
She was born on July 28, 1927 in Anderson, the daughter of William and Ethel (Burton) Raison. Charlotte was a homemaker, who enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Gethsemane Foursquare Gospel Church.
Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Leo) Witt of Lake Placid, Florida; three grandchildren: Bryan (Sharon Lee) Witt, Darrin Witt, and Brandon (Molly) McCoy; five great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends Mollie and Bob Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Darold McCoy; son, Roger McCoy; four brothers, William, Frank, Fred, and Charlie Raison; two sisters, Rozella Dwiggins and Mary Cook.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 12 noon, at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service, officiated by Pastor Robert Henderson. Burial of cremated remains will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will take place two hours prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
