Daniel E. Walsh, Jr., age 57, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, formerly of Attleboro, passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully at home on Monday, July 5, 2021.
Born in Norwood, MA on November 1, 1963, he was a loving son of Pamela J. Verrochi and her husband Paul of Walpole and Daniel E. Walsh, Sr. and his wife Elaine of Texas.
Dan grew up in Attleboro, was a graduate of Attleboro High School and attended trade school to learn the profession of plumbing.
Dan was a talented master plumber and was employed by the J.W. Wagner Plumbing Company in East Providence. He had previously worked for many years for the Local 51 Plumbers Union in Rhode Island.
Dan’s favorite times were those spent with his adoring family and friends alike. Along with his family, he was a member of the First Christian Church in West Mansfield. His hobbies included fishing, clamming, camping, music and being an avid New England Patriots fan.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his devoted children: Daniel E. Walsh, III and his longtime companion Kerrin Albertson of North Attleboro, Erica L. Walsh of Pawtucket, RI and Kayla M. Walsh and her longtime companion Jason Beaudette of Pawtucket, RI. He was the cherished grandfather of Kurtis, Jacob, Morgan and Miranda. He was the dear brother of Lisa Courtemanche and her husband Keith of North Smithfield, RI, Melissa Walsh of Lincoln, RI, and is also survived by his loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, July 11th from 3:00-6:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.
His funeral service will be held at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home on Monday, July 12th at 11:00. Burial will follow at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield.
