Thomas Moye, 68, of Barnesville, died April 2, 2006 in Barnesville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Pastor Tommy Smith will officiate with burial to follow in Oakridge Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shan Adams, Armando Trejo, Dre Brown, Brian Mangram, Rudy Adams, Bruce Smith, Michael Moye and Nick Smith. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson.
Mr. Moye was born on February 23, 1938 in Tift County and was the son of Jack Moye and Rosalie Thrasher Moye, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Arthur Moye. He was a retired dispatcher for a trucking company and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include four daughters and two sons-in-law: Sherry and Rudy Adams of Tifton, Tomi and Brian Mangram of Barnesville, Tracy Moye of Barnesville and Derenda Davis of Barnesville; one brother, Michael Moye of Gainesville, Florida; two sisters, Jackie Moye Smith of Punta Gorda, Florida and Doris Jones of Albany; seven grandchildren, Jana Adams, Lance Welch, Kaleb Welch, Whitney Welch, Madison Davis, Bailey Mangram and .
