Ilo Riska, 77, of Worcester, died Friday, July 2nd in Christopher House. His wife of 52 years Lytfije (Dita) Riska died last year. He is survived by his son, Olsi Riska and his wife, Eglantina; his daughter, Mirela Marko and her husband, Artan all of Worcester; a brother and two sisters in Albania and four grandchildren, Ingrid, Ariel, Juxhes and Franci.
He was born in Korca, Albania, the son of Dhori and Kleanthi (Duni) Riska and came to the United States to begin a new life with his wife. He had worked in Albania as a technical engineer in the construction of buildings, homes, bridges and factories. He then worked in this country as an assembler at Unilect, and last worked as an electrical assembler for Mem Connection before retiring. Ilo loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, as well as trips to Cancun, Mexico where enjoyed the ocean and swimming.
His funeral is Wednesday, July 6th with a graveside service in Hope Cemetery at Noon. His calling hours are Tuesday, July 5th from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue.
