TEWKSBURY: Paul K. Harvey, age 67, a resident of Tewksbury for over 40 years, passed away at the Lowell General Hospital on Thursday, July 1, 2021, following an extended illness.
He was the beloved husband of Catherine A. (Oliver) Harvey, with whom he celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on June 19, 2021.
Born in Somerville on November 18, 1953, he was the son of the late William Harvey and the late Mary (Caslin) Harvey.
Paul was raised in Somerville and graduated from Somerville High School in 1971. Following high school, he attended Burdett Business College, where he received an Associate Degree.
Paul worked for the Federal Reserve Bank in Boston for over 30 years until his retirement.
He was an avid sports fan. Paul’s love for sports had no limits, he enjoyed following, conversing and discussing all professional, college, and amateur sporting events.
In addition to his wife, family members include, Dennis P. Oliver and his wife Ruth (Ferreira) and their daughter, Hannah Oliver, all of Tewksbury. Peter F. Williams and his late wife Joanne M. (Oliver) of Londonderry, NH, and their children, Jessica M. Williams of Wakefield, Amanda C. and Sara J. Williams both of Londonderry, NH.
Calling hours are Tuesday, July 6, from 10-11 a.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. Williams Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations honoring Paul’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
