Obituary

PEABODY - Helen M. (Hubisz) Jarzynka, of Peabody, formerly of Salem, died Saturday morning, April 1, 2006, at her residence following a long illness.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Gregory and Mary (Scheling) Hubisz, and was a resident of Salem until moving to Peabody in 1992.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Jarzynka was employed at the Danvers Bleachery, Chase’s Restaurant at the Salem Willows, Creese & Cook in Danvers, Sasone’s Restaurant and Gerber’s Restaurant, both in Salem. In her retirement years, she worked as a manicurist at shops in Beverly and Peabody.

Helen is survived by one daughter, Joan J. Jarzynka of Peabody, one brother, Joseph Hubisz of Hamilton, one nephew, John Hubisz of Hamilton and several cousins including Mary O’Neil of S. Boston. She was the sister of the late Rose R. Mackiewicz and Annie Hubisz.

Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at 9 am from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 am at the St. John The Baptist Church, Salem. Visiting hours are Tuesday, 5 to 8 pm. Interment is in St. Mary Cemetery, Salem. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
