Worcester__ Walter R. Menard, 95, formerly of Wachusett St. Worcester, died Saturday, April 1, in Autumn Village Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
His wife Anne E. (Kasheta) Menard died in 1977. He leaves a son Paul R. Menard and his wife Ronni of North Wales, PA. He was predeceased by a sister, Methyl Lombard. He was born in Marlborough, son of David and Clara (Darling) Menard and lived in Worcester most of his life.
Mr. Menard was a letter carrier for the US Postal Service for many years before retiring. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the US Army.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, April 4, from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 43 Belmont St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
