Leann passed away at home June 26, 2021 after an extended illness. She was born in El Cajon, CA on August 7, 1959 to Don O’Rear and Laura Jeanette Booker O’Rear.
She grew up in Oxnard and Ventura working as a technical editor until she chose an early retirement. She was giving, caring, and kind to a fault. Friends knew she was always good for small loans which were and were not always paid back; that didn’t deter her giving nature.
She is survived by her husband Raymond of 33 years; Mother Laura Jeanette; Brothers: Don Jeffry O’Rear and Douglas O’Rear; and Sister Tommie Kay Riddle. She is also survived by Step-children: Antonio Gallegos and Olivia Sheldahl whom she considered her own and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father Don O’Rear; grandparents Dixie and Gladys Booker; and Jeff Davis and Birdie O’Rear.
An intimate Celebration of Life with immediate family and close friends will be held to honor Leann; time and place is not yet determined.
