Kenneth Dale "Kenny" Bowmer, known as "Wheeler Dealer", 64, of Anderson died at his residence after a brief illness.
He was born March 26, 1957, in Gainesboro, Tennessee, the son of Bobbie Keith and Thelma Jean (Petty) Bowmer. He owned Kenny Bowmer Auto Sales from 1975 to 2003 and Redhot Motors from 2004 to present. He loved cars especially muscle and classic cars.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Riddle; his mother, Jean Bowmer, four children, Brenda Bowmer, Kenny Dale (Sarah) Bowmer, II, Daniel (Jennifer) Bowmer and Staci (Dustin Gentry) Riddle; ten grandchildren; Amanda, Cody, Alan, Christine, Haley, Matthew, Nathaniel, Kara, Nickolas and Jacob; two great-grandchildren, Cayden and C.J.; brother, Bobbie (Karen) Bowmer; uncle, Doug Bowmer, four aunts, Bea Carter, Elizabeth Cherry, Martha Lewis and Patsy Petty; several cousins and three pets, Chewy, Taco and Hemi.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobbie Bowmer, wife, Vickie Bowmer, daughters, Lisa Marie Bowmer and Glena Thomas; brother, Ricky Bowmer and two grandsons, Deven Bowmer and Sid Kocher.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. on Friday, July 2, 2021 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Billy Petty officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Family would like friends to drive fun or classic cars to the funeral service as he loved cars.
Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the family to help with the funeral expenses.
