Obituary

Donald A. Eastman, 70, of New Bedford died Friday March 31, 2006 suddenly at home. He was the husband of Lucille (Arredondo) Eastman
Born in Milford, Maine, the son of the late Henry and Bertha (Smith) Eastman, he lived in New Bedford for most of his life.
Mr. Eastman was formerly employed as a driver for Yellow Cab in New Bedford.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1955-1957.
Survivors include his wife; eight children, Lori Eastman Kennedy, Lynn Gaspar, Robert Eastman, Steven Eastman, and Mark Eastman, all of New Bedford, Christopher Eastman of Iowa, Daniel Eastman of Wisconsin, and Joseph Eastman of Chicago; and 11 grandchildren.
He was the brother of the late James Eastman, Floyd Eastman, and Henry Eastman.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday April 5, 2006 at 9 AM in Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Visiting hours will be at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford on Tuesday April 4, 2006 from 4-7 PM.
