Evelyn Dobbins, 82, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, June 25, 2021, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Monday, June 28, 2021, at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald with the Rev. Tim Harsey officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 AM Monday at the funeral home.
Ms. Dobbins was born May 21, 1939, in Berrien County, Georgia, to the late Jessie F. & Carrie Elizabeth “Lizzie” Norris Dobbins. After graduating high school, she became a seamstress and later worked for Fitzgerald Underwear. She also worked as a caregiver. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a member of Crossview Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children: James Kenneth Webb of Fitzgerald, Angela Sims of Fitzgerald, and Jessie F. & Debra Webb of Brookfield; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers, including her twin brother, Elton Dobbins.
