In Boston, June 25, 2021 Helen Ann (Fraga) Annunziato, 85, wife of the late Amalio Annunziato, died at Boston Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Born in Taunton, Helen was the daughter of the late Antonio and Etelvina (Bertao) Fraga. Helen was a graduate of St Mary’s High School in Taunton, Class of 1954. She moved to North Dighton where she and Amalio raised their family. She was a retired receptionist for J.R. Tallman Insurance Company in Taunton. Helen’s greatest love and joy was her family and she cherished the memorable times they shared together. She had a strong Catholic faith and was a Eucharistic Minister at Morton Hospital and at the former St. Joseph Church in North Dighton. In 2017 she moved to Whitney Place in Sharon where was an active and well loved member of the community. Helen was the mother of Michael Annunziato and his wife Nancy of Franconia, NH, Kevin Annunziato and his wife Darlene of Medway, Maria Annunziato and her wife Camille Paolini of Mansfield, Peter Annunziato and his wife Deanne of Mattapoisett, and the late Mark Annunziato. Loving grandmother of Joseph, Daniel, Matthew, Grace, Steven, and Gianna Annunziato, and great grandmother of Ryan and William Annunziato. Sister of Alfred Fraga of FL, Ethel Fraga of Hingham, Paul Fraga of FL, and the late Antone, Delphina, Joseph, Sister Mary, Louis, Father Bento, George, and Edward Fraga. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton on Wednesday, June 30th from 9:00 to 10:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony’s Church in Taunton at 11 AM. Interment St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
