Fred E. Morrison, 85, of Atkinson, NH, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021, in his home with his family by his side. He was born in Boston, MA on October 9, 1935, a son of John and Elvira (Breed) Morrison.
He is survived by his loving wife Patricia (Hodgdon) Morrison of 53 years; two sons, Christopher Mahoney and his wife Nancy, of Pittsfield NH and James Kellett of Atkinson NH; two daughters, Elizabeth Keane and her husband William of Atkinson NH, and Mary Gerade and her husband Kendall of Derry NH. He also leaves behind two grandsons; Matthew Keane and Keegan Kellett; and 7 granddaughters Amanda Gallo, Rebecca and Kathryn Keane, Delaney and Kaelyn Kellett, and Emily and Taylor Gerade and two great grandsons Jace Gallo and Greyson Lu, and his brother John Morrison of Londonderry and several nieces and nephews. Fred is predeceased by his great-grandson, Dylan Gallo
A longtime resident of both Hampstead and Derry, New Hampshire, Fred worked for Wilbert Vault company for many years and was a member of teamsters local 633 for 30 years. When not at work Fred could be found happily helping family and friends with his handyman skills.
After retirement Fred and Pat retired to Merritt Island, Florida where they enjoyed traveling and relaxing with good friends.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, NH. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 am in the funeral home with the burial to follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Kent Farm Rd., Hampstead, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life of Rockingham County to Team Amanda at http://main.acsevents.org/goto/teamamanda2015
