Michael Shane Summers, 58, of Tifton passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021, at his residence. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mr. Summers at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at Isabella Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest. The Rev. Jason Jones will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born April 13, 1963 in Tifton, Mr. Summers was the son of Bobby Joe Summers and Linda Summers of Sylvester and the late Dorothy Fowler Summers. In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by one son, Eugene Martin, III. He was a retired lineman and a veteran of the United States Navy.
In addition to his father and step-mother, Mr. Summers is survived by his wife, Sindy Ann Calhoun Summers, of Tifton; one daughter, Catherine Summers of Tifton; one brother, Stacy Summers of Florida; three sisters, Sletta Peters of Monroe, Lindsey Watson of Ashburn and Debbie Kelly of Dunn, North Carolina; and three grandchildren, Autumn Martin, Brittany Martin and Jay Langford.
