Obituary

Robert Louis “Moose” Henry, 80, of Franklin, died June 23, at his daughter’s home in Plainville. He was the husband of the late Mary Ellen (Smith) Henry.

Born in Franklin, July 27, 1940, the son of the late Harold T. and Josephine (DiRosario) Henry, Mr. Henry was a lifelong Franklin resident.

Mr. Henry had worked at Clark, Cutler & McDermott in Franklin as a laborer for many years before retiring.

Moose was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and his “beloved” Boston Red Sox.

He is survived by his daughter Suzanne Henry of Plainville.

He is also survived by his siblings, Harold T. “Jack” Henry, Jr. of Franklin, Patrick M. Henry of Bellingham, Warren A. Henry and his wife Carol of Bellingham, Christine J. and the late Thomas Gosling of Taunton, Theresa J. Lima, and her husband Richard of Franklin.

He was the brother of the late Alden N. Henry.

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close family friend, Leslie Crossen.

His calling hours will be held on Monday, June 28 from 11:00-1:00 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin. Burial will follow in Union Street Cemetery, Franklin.
