Thomas W. Dacey, age 67, of Taunton, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at the Morton Hospital in Taunton. He was the beloved husband of Diane M. (Moniz) Dacey, to whom he was wed on February 26, 1984.
Born in Framingham, MA on December 20, 1953, he was a loving son of the late John and Marian (Corbett) Dacey.
Tom grew up in West Bridgewater and was a graduate of West Bridgewater High School. He had made his home in Taunton for the past thirty-five years and prior to retiring, had worked in the Environmental Service Deptartment at Morton Hospital in Taunton.
Tom truly loved spending time with his adoring family and his hobbies included camping, fishing and spending time and taking in the beauty of the Cape Cod Canal.
In addition to his beloved wife of thirty-seven years, he is survived by his devoted children: Heather M. Dacey and her loving companion Scott Ferreira of Taunton, Justin T. Dacey of Boston, Sean M. Dacey and his wife Kelly of New Bedford and Gage J. Dacey of Taunton. He was the cherished grandfather of Eric Dacey, Shea Dacey, Ava Dacey and Walker Dacey. He was the dear brother of Jack Dacey and his wife Roxanne of Raynham, Ronald Dacey and his wife Bernadette of Raynham and Scott Dacey and his wife Marcie of Brockton. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be private and visiting hours are omitted.
