Regina Suzanne Ramirez-Goad, 63 of Ventura, CA passed away on June 18, 2021. Regina was born in Los Angeles, CA to Mary Lou Perez on September 30,1957. She attended Lincoln Heights High School and graduated in 1975. She went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education from California State University Northridge as well as a Master's Degree in Education Administration from California State University Los Angeles. She enjoyed drawing, crafting, 80's dance music, contemporary Christian worship music, Classical music, Disneyland, the beach, and loved dogs. She coached the El Camion Real High School JV Softball team to a LAUSD Championship. She also coached an Academic Decathalon Team. She received a Teacher of the Year Award and was very involved in Church; it is said that she was a prayer warrior.
Regina is survived by her husband, Tony Goad; they met at a Ralphs grocery store and were married on July 27, 1985. They were happily married almost 36 years. She also is survived by her sister, Natalie Cerritos; mother-in-law, Willa Goad; sisters-in-law: Lisa Goad, Kyla Lavin, Debbie Goad, and Debbie Ramirez; brothers-in-law: Mike Goad, Les Goad, and Tom Lavin; nieces: Adreanna Goad, Carissa Smith, Ashley Goad, Nicole Goad, Ellen Lavin, and Jayce Lavin; nephews: Christian Cerritos, Jeremy Cerritos, Albert Goad, Jacob Goad, Brandon Goad, Alex Smith, and Joseph Lavin. She is also survived by 6 great nieces and a great nephew which she loved with passion.
