Mien V. Tran, 56, of Spencer passed away on Saturday, June 19th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center – University Campus. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Thao Duong; their children, Emily Duong, Anna Duong and Timothy Tran. Mien was born in Soc Xoai, Vietnam, the son of Cong Van Tran and Anh Thi Huynh of Vietnam. He was one of nine children, who immigrated to the United States alone in 1989 and became a United States Citizen.
Mien was a loving husband and father. He had a way of bringing cheerfulness into any room he walks into. He will be missed very much by all who knew and loved him.
Calling hours are Friday, June 25th from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester.
