Lillian (Sevigny) Vaillancourt, 97, of Westport, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth. She was the wife of the late Henry J. Vaillancourt, Sr.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Arthur S. and Leda (Gagnon) Sevigny, she had been a resident of Westport since 1950. Mrs. Vaillancourt was a Communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport where she was a member of the Senior Citizens Club and the Women's Guild. An Avid BINGO player, she enjoyed playing slot machines and taking bus trips,
Survivors include 2 sons: Henry J. Vaillancourt, Jr. and his wife Theresa of Westport and Gerard W. Vaillancourt of Westport; 2 daughters: Joyce Durette of Fall River and Trudy Ratcliffe and her husband Andrew of N. Dartmouth; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a former son-in-law: Gerard Durette and several nieces and nephews.
She was sister of the late George Sevigny, Lorraine Saucier, Jeannette Frankowski and Raymond Sevigny.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, June 25, 2021 from the Potter Funeral Home at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
