Elizabeth “ Liz” Accorsi 92, of Franklin, died peacefully, with family at her side, Sunday June 20, 2021 at the Medway Country Manor, following an illness.
Born April 24, 1929 in Franklin, a daughter of the late Roberto and Premiera (Viola) Accorsi, she was a lifelong resident of Franklin.
She was raised in Franklin and attended the Perkins School for the Blind. Liz worked as a secretary for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Liz enjoyed listening to classical music and the Boston Red Sox; she was also a devoted member of St. Mary’s Church, Franklin.
She leaves numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
She was the sister of the late Armando and Robert Accorsi, Eleanor M. Costello, Rachel A., Anna L., Emma Accorsi, Santina Crawford, Melina Taggart and Deglia Galipeau.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral, Thursday June 24th, with visitation beginning at 9:30AM at the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St.followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Church Square at 11AM. To view the Mass click stmarysfranklin.org
Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
