Obituary

Belmont-Joyce Marie Kincaid, 77, of Hunter Court died Saturday morning, April 1, 2006 at Lakes Region General Hospital after a courage battle with lung disease. She had been a resident of Belmont, NH for 13 years coming from Vienna, Virginia.

Joyce was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Leta (McQuillen) Case. She was born in Buffalo, NY on September 3, 1928 where she was raised and schooled. Prior to her retirement in 1993 she was employed at Oakton Youthwear, Inc., more commonly known as the Red Apple in Oakton, Virginia, working in retail sales. Prior to moving to Virginia, Joyce worked at the William Hengerer's Company in Buffalo, New York where she met her husband. Among her many interests and loves, children topped her list. She was also an avid reader and crafts person with a fondness of knitting and crocheting, and she found great pleasure in attending craft shows.

Besides her parents, one brother, Jack Case, predeceased Joyce.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard C. Kincaid of Belmont, three sons, Richard B. Kincaid of Belmont, Jeffrey A. Kincaid and his wife Julie of Reno, Nevada, and Drew S. Kincaid and his wife Theresa of Rixeyville, Virginia, two brothers, James Case of Tonawanda, New York, and Dennis Case of Buffalo, New York, one sister, Doris Case of Gilford, two granddaughters, Kelleigh Kincaid, of Chicago, Illinois, and Tanya Kincaid of Rixeyville, Virginia. Many nieces and nephews also survive Joyce.

A Service of Remembrance was held on Friday April 7th, 2006 at 3:00 pm at the Simoneau-Paquette Memorial Home, 139 Church Street, Laconia, NH. Rev Victoria Wood Parrish, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Gilford officiated. A visiting hour prceded the service from 2:00-3:00 pm. Family and friends were invited to attend.
