FALL RIVER – Josephine (Kupiec) Bouchard, age 82 of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at the Carvalho Grove Health & Rehab. Center. Born in Fall River, Josephine was the beloved wife of the late Arthur J. Bouchard and the daughter of the late Walter and Franceline (Oliveira) Kupiec.
Prior to retiring, Josephine worked as a laundry folder/washer for J.J. Laundry Co. She previously had worked for both Globe Assembly and Shelburn Shirt Co. During her retirement, Josephine loved to volunteer at the So. Main St. Senior Center.
She is survived by her children: Ronald Bouchard of Warren, RI, Steven Bouchard of Springdale, AR, Susan Costa of Westport, MA, Patty Bouchard of Tiverton, RI, and Lori August of Fall River, MA; siblings: Raymond Kupiec and Helen Ouimette both of Fall River; 8 grandchildren: Kiley, Heather, Paula, Pam, Jessica, Bobby, Jim, and Derek; 8 great grandchildren: Sam, Rayana, Alyssa, McKenna, Harper, Alex, Emma, and Evin; and several nieces & nephews. Josephine was the mother of the late Randy Bouchard and the late Richard Bouchard.
Following cremation, Josephine’s funeral will take place from the Manual Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA. on Wednesday, June 23rd here at 9:00 A.M. with a Service in the Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M. Interment of urn in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, F.R. to follow.
