John M. “Jack” Laisure of Saugus passed away suddenly on June 8. He was 23 years old. Jack was the cherished son of Patricia A. (O'Keefe) and the late Michael S. Laisure of Saugus.
Jack was employed as an auto mechanic. Cars were Jack’s passion. He built an 85 Camaro from the ground up. He also loved animals, especially our dog Beau. Jack enjoyed fishing, dirt biking, fireworks, bonfires, swimming and just being in the outdoors in general. He was always the first to jump in and help someone with their car issues, help them move, help them assemble furniture, etc. Jack was a loyal friend and sensitive, compassionate person.
Jack was the dear brother of Samantha Laisure of Saugus and Danielle McPherson (Mucci), and her husband Eddie of Somerville. He was the adored uncle of Charlie McPherson. Jack was the beloved grandson of the late Sylvia and John O’Keefe and Donalda and Sherman Laisure. He was the loving nephew of Cynthia and the late Lenny Avola, the late Jack O’Keefe, Timothy and Susan O’Keefe, Christopher and Luci O’Keefe, Ellen O’Keefe, Mary and Bob Regazzini, Joanne and Frank Kowalski, Pat and the late Dan Wittkopp, Paulette Laisure-Pool and Dave Pool, John Laisure, Don and Pam Laisure, Mark and Mary Beth Laisure and Sam Laisure. Jack was the best friend of Ronny Mason. He is also survived by many, many cousins and friends.
We lost our Jack to addiction and a long struggle with mental health issues, please never hesitate to reach out to someone you love if you think they are struggling with the same.
