John F. Miller, Jr., 62, of Medway died Monday, June 14, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer at Best Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He was the beloved husband of JodiRene (Porter) Miller to whom he just married this past March.
Born in Boston on November 15, 1958, he was the son of John F. and Jean (Manning) Miller, Sr.
John was a resident of Medway for the past three years and formerly resided in Brockton.
He worked for Shaw’s Supermarkets for over 30 years most recently as a store director in Franklin.
John was an avid New England sports fan and enjoyed playing golf and going to the beach. He also loved spending time with his grand-baby.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter Angela DiMarzio, her husband Jeffrey and their daughter Sophia of Rehoboth, his son John F. Miller, III and his fiancé John Marchant of East Walpole and two sisters, Regina Swarce of Taunton and Karen Miller of Brockton.
He is also survived by JodiRene’s children, Harley, Oliver, Angela and Quinlan Anderson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, June 23 from 4 – 7 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
Graveside services will take place on Thursday, June 24 at 10 a.m. at Oakland Cemetery in Medway.
