Worcester: Jean L. (Schiavone) Wetherbee, 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 10, 2021 in Brigham and Women’s Hospital following an illness. She leaves her husband of 46 years Bruce Wetherbee; a son Adam C. Wetherbee and his wife Ashley of CT; a granddaughter Ellie; a brother- Artie Schiavone and his wife Carol of ME; a nephew Brian; and many cousins.
Jean was born in Worcester, daughter of the late George and Mildred (Hopewell) Schiavone. She graduated from North High School and worked at Reliant Medical for many years; holding multiple positions, most recently as records coordinator. She enjoyed her granddaughter, her front porch, going to the beach, crocheting, playing the piano and making Christmas cookies.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
