CODAIR, Kathleen Mary (Daley) Of Dedham formerly of Brighton, passed away peacefully in her home after a long battle with cancer surrounded by her family June 11, 2021. Daughter of the late Margaret and Richard Daley formerly of Brighton. She is survived by her husband Ed of Dedham, her oldest daughter Julie Codair of Westwood, and her youngest daughter Jacqueline Donovan and her husband Matthew of Walpole. She is also survived by her only grandson Cormac Donovan of Walpole as well as several nieces and nephews. Sister of Richard Daley of Simi Valley, CA, David Daley of Needham, John Daley of Newton, Daniel Daley of Marshfield, MaryAnn Bailey of Hampton, NH, Francis Gannon of Hingham, Judith Daley of CA, Theresa Daley of Hampton, NH, and the late Eileen (Daley) Tripoli and Margaret Daley-Strano.
Kathleen was a caregiver from birth being the oldest of eleven children and spent over a 50 year career in nursing. She received an Associate’s in Nursing from St. Joseph’s Hospital School, Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, a Bachelor’s in Nursing from UMass Boston, and a Master’s of Administration from Boston College. She loved to laugh, dance, and have her picture taken. She was loved by all whom met her and she will be greatly missed.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 14 in St. Susanna’s Church, 262 Needham St., Dedham at 9:00am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
