Obituary

Jason Anthony Pacheco, 30, of New Bedford, passed away after a long illness on Monday, June 7th, 2021.

Born in New Bedford, son of Manuel F. Pacheco, Sr., and Senobia Faria, he was raised in New Bedford, and attended high school and college in Pennsylvania before returning to New Bedford.

Jason loved working on cars, traveling, listening to music, and trying foods from different places. He was an all around family man and hard worker who loved raising his sister's children. Jason was very funny and had a big heart, always helping people in need.

Survivors include his fiancé, Codey Parker; his parents, Manuel F. Pacheco, Sr., and his wife Doris Pacheco, and Senobia Faria and her fiancé Allen Harraden; his siblings, Manuel F. Pacheco, Jr., and Felicia Pacheco and her companion Miguel Figuera; aunts and uncles, Anthony F. Faria, Mark Faria, Tisha Clark, Linda Robinson, Nelia Correia, Maria A. Pacheco, Christina Rocha, Natalia Morales, Manuel A. Pacheco, Jr., and Renato Pacheco; nieces and nephews, Jaiela Pacheco, Zariyah Rodriguez, Jaaziah, Malanah and Giniyah Pacheco; his Godchildren, Zyell Pacheco, and John Verissimo, Jr.; Godparent, Ramona Carreiro; and his little man, Adisson Verissimo-Correia; his closest family members, Keayana Nogueira, Alana Monteiro, and Krystle and John Verissimo. He leaves behind many more cousins and extended family.

Jason is predeceased by his aunt, Elsa Pacheco; nephew, Josiah Pacheo; his grandparents, Debra and Anthony Faria, and Maria and Manuel Pacheco; great-grandparents, Pauline and Antone Faria, and Edward and Breatrice; great-aunt Ann Monteiro; and great-uncle, Robert Monetiro.

Jason's wake will be held on Saturday, June 19th, from 2-5PM, with a service beginning at 5PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
