Patti Cook, 60, of Salem, NH, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021, in the Portsmouth Regional Hospital, Portsmouth, NH following a period of declining health. She was born on June 9, 1960 in Hialeah, FL, a daughter of the late David and Donna (Pyne) Day. Patti was a proud Gold Star Mother, having lost her son Michael Cook in Iraq in 2011. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and taking trips to the beach. Patti also loved to hop in the car and take long rides with her daughter, not always having a destination but enjoying the journey.
She is survived by her husband, Michael B. Cook, her daughter, Kimberly Cook and her son, Lucas Cook, all of Salem; her four beloved grandchildren, Addison Rivera, Hailee Cook, Michael Cook lll, and Landen Bergeron , one brother, Alan Day of Rocklin, CA; one sister-in-law, Helena Day of Manchester, NH, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Michael B. Cook Jr, a sister, Joyce Day and brother David Day.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.
