Worcester – Pauline V. (Castonguay) Poisson, 85, of Worcester, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021 in Saint Vincent Hospital after a brief illness.
Pauline is survived by her two loving daughters, Lisa J. Poisson of Acushnet and Debra A. Caban of Taunton; two sisters, Aline Lamarre of New Bedford and Doris Richard of New Bedford; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
Pauline was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Wilfred and Arzelia (Frechette) Castonguay and is also predeceased by a daughter, Lynda Vargas; a sister, Claire Coderre Moniz and two brothers, Ernest Castonguay and Leo Castonguay.
Pauline worked for over 40 years as a manager for Things Remembered and was a devoted member of Our Lady of the Angels Church. She could often be found doing jigsaw puzzles, knitting, crocheting or doing crossword puzzles, but she was happiest when she was spending time with her family.
A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, June 16 at 10 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church 1222 Main St. Worcester. Memorial contributions in memory of Pauline may be made to Our Lady of the Angels Church 1222 Main Street Worcester, MA 01603.
