NEW BEDFORD – Edward A. Gosselin, age 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 7, 2021 at New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home. He was the beloved husband of Eileen (Silvia) Gosselin for 60 years, whom he said he was going to marry when he was 7 years old. Born and raised in the North End in Fall River, he was the son of the late Edmond and Anita Gosselin. Edward was an avid sports fan. He loved the Cleveland Browns and the Boston Bruins.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his children Joanne Gosselin of Fall River and Brenda Gifford (husband Michael) of Rochester; half-sister Jane Romero (husband Tony) of TX; grandchildren Michael Gifford Jr. (wife Mary-Lee), Christian Gifford and Nicole Gifford.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Saturday, June 12th here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Joseph’s Church at 10 A.M.
