Eleanor Gesina (Conroy) Heisler, 79. of Franklin died June 7 in the Rose Monahan Hospice in Worcester following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Don Heisler who died in 1996.
Born in Boston, December 12, 1941, the daughter of the late John and Eleanor (Joyce) Conroy, Mrs. Heisler was raised in Dorchester and had lived in Franklin since 1976.
Eleanor had been the receptionist at Quiggs School of Gymnastics for many years.
She enjoyed cooking, traveling and above all being with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Gesina Tustin and her husband Rick of Raymond, New Hampshire, Ronald Heisler and his wife Christina of Mendon and Michael and his wife Patricia of Mashpee.
She was the mother of the late Daniel Heisler.
She is also survived by her brother John Conroy of Dennis and was the sister of the late Nancy Connelly and Mark Conroy.
Eleanor is also survived by her grandchildren, Kimberly, Katelyn, Joshua, Cody and Daniel and her greatgrandchildren, Aiden, Alexis, and David.
Also survived by her nieces and nephews, Steve Heisler, Shari Heisler, Jeff Heisler, Jason Heisler, Brad Heisler, John Conroy, Krista Mayti, Ann Connelly, and Eleanor Connelly.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 11 in St. Mary’s Church at 10:00.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
