Christina L. Tremblay 39, of Providence, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday June 5, 2021 at Roger Williams Medical Center.
Born April 15, 1982, in Bangor, Maine, a daughter of Catherine F. (Freitas) Tremblay of Franklin and the late Barry L. Tremblay, she was a former resident of Franklin before moving to Providence.
She was raised and educated in Dedham, and was a graduate of Dedham High School Class of 2000. She then attended Massachusetts Bay Community College.
Christina worked in modeling, retail and restaurant industries. She volunteered for many years with a nonprofit group to submit legislation to revise the laws around CORI checks.
She was actively studying to become a Substance Abuse Recovery Coach.
Christina enjoyed listening to music, singing and spending time with her family.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, John J. Tremblay of Franklin, siblings, Barry L. Tremblay, Jr. and Lauren T. Tremblay both of Franklin, and her fiancé Christopher Francis of Providence.
Also surviving is a niece Katarina Gould.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours Saturday June 12th, in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St, from 11AM-1PM.
A funeral service will follow at 1PM.
Interment will be held privately.
