On June 4th our mother June (Petersen) Osgood, took her final breath on Earth and went to her eternal home to be with Jesus. She was surrounded by her family.
The sun rose and the world welcomed the best daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother, and mormor on May 12th, 1944 (or possibly 1943, she’d never say), a day the world became a little brighter. Born in Silkeborg, Denmark before relocating to the United States, she lived life to the fullest as a USO dancer, model, avid traveler, proud veteran mom, and overachieving parent and grandmother in every way possible. A warrior throughout life, “Junebug” will be forever loved and sorely missed.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law, sisters, and brother
A service will be held at Grace Church, 101 Whales Ave, Avon on Saturday June 12th, at 10:00 a.m. and she will finally rest in peace following the service in Hull Village Cemetery, next to her late husband Richard Osgood. All are welcome to attend
