Michael W. Hooper, 59, of Tewksbury passed away unexpectedly at home on June 2, 2021, in Westford, MA.
Michael was born in Cambridge, MA to Elezear "Butch" and Theresa Hooper on July, 18, 1961. He went to school at Tewksbury High where he played on the schools hockey team. Michael’s passions included hockey, drawing and playing the guitar. He also enjoyed playing the drums and singing, although he couldn’t carry a tune as well as he thought he could. Michael had an infectious laugh and spirit and when he was excited about something he would go all in with it demanding perfection from himself. Kind and caring, while also a bit stubborn and certainly outspoken, Michael always went out of his way to help someone when he could. Michael will be sorely missed by his family and the many friends he’s made throughout his life.
Michael is preceded by his parents Butch and Theresa Hooper and his granddaughter Charlotte Allen.
Michael is survived by his two sons Joshua Allen and his wife Taylor Allen of Lutz, FL, Jesse Allen, and his fiancé Beth Hutchins of Kingston, NH. And grandchildren; Cannan Allen, Hailey Allen and Remington Allen. His brothers, Kevin, John, Rick and George; nieces, Christina, Stephanie, Jennifer, Katie and Meagan and nephew George.

A Celebration of Michael’s life will be held on Saturday June 12th from 9am-1pm, including a funeral service at 1 p.m. at Tewksbury Funeral Home, 1 Dewey Street, Tewksbury, 978-851-2061.
