Steven Wayne “Steve” Evans, 65, of Ventura, CA, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2021 at home in Ventura after a years-long battle with his health. Steve was born on November 7, 1955 in El Dorado, Arkansas, to Joyce and Bill Evans. He went to high school at Ventura High, and graduated in 1974. Steve loved to spend time with his family, and enjoyed baseball, golfing, fishing, camping and more. He was a long-time lover of John Wayne and most western movies. He was a jokester with a contagious laugh, and he will be dearly missed.
