Connie Williams Wicker, 65, of Tifton passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 7, 2021, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Dr. Danny Ray officiating. Mrs. Wicker will be laid to rest at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 6, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
J. D. Sellers, Jimmy Bailey, Terry Pilkinton, Lance Williams, Brett Williams and Destinie Bailey will serve as pallbearers.
Born August 22, 1955, in Dothan, Alabama, Mrs. Wicker was the daughter of the late Odel Williams and Marion Paulk Williams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Donald Wicker; and one brother, Mitch Williams. She was employed with the State of Georgia Child Support Services for 40 years.
Mrs. Wicker is survived by one daughter, Destinie Bailey of Valdosta; one sister, Delores Godwin of Enigma; four nephews, Jimmy Bailey, Terry Pilkinton, Lance Williams and Brett Williams; and four great-nephews, Chance Bailey, Jimmy Bailey, Jr., Tye Williams and Hayes Williams.
