Barbara A. (Poor) Baker, 92, died June 2, 2021 at her residence, following an extended illness.
She was born in Anderson on May 29, 1929, and had been a resident of Chesterfield for 86 years. She retired from Delco-Remy in 1983.
Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, Micah and Stephen Bourquein of Pendleton; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Cameron Lynn Bourquein and Eric Joseph Pierzchala of Anderson; special niece and her husband, Tammy and David Hiday of Middletown; a brother-in-law, Robert Werking of Orlando; and a nephew and his family, Roger Werking of Orlando.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nellie and Kenneth Poor; her husband of 63 years, Robert E. Baker; an infant grandson, Aaron Bourquein; life-long friend, Marjorie Broyles Moore; and a sister, Peggy Werking;
Graveside service will be held at Bronnenberg Cemetery, Chesterfield at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 7, 2021.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Madison County Humane Society.
