Eric Neal Hallgarth, 60, of Anderson died unexpectedly on May 29, 2021 at Community Hospital. Eric was born December 6, 1960 in Anderson,
the son of Les Hallgarth and Sally (Wolgamott) Poole. He was a glazer at Hoosier Glass 16 years. He also worked for M & E Machinery in Frankton; enjoyed playing golf, Colts games and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Melanie (Smith) Hallgarth of Anderson; father, Les Hallgarth of Anderson; stepfather, Ed (Karen) Poole of Sulphur Springs; his two sons, Evan Hallgarth and Alan Hallgarth both of Anderson; two grandchildren, Serenity Hallgarth and Mary Hallgarth; three step-grandchildren, Aiden Keefer, Cecelia and Ella Martinez; siblings: Randy (Andie) Hallgarth Debbie Symmes all of Topeka, Indiana, Scott (Nayleen) Poole of Anderson and Kim Morgan of Noblesville;several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sally (Wolgamott) Poole and his step-mother, Marty Hallgarth and a grandson, Joseph Reyes.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 4, 2020 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Ned Clark of Chesterfield Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Bronnenberg Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Animal Protection League or Indiana Donor Network.
