Elizabeth R. “Betty” (Rowe) Morgan, age 95, of Medford passed away on Friday, May 28th. Born and raised in Utica, NY, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Marion Rowe. Betty was a Medford resident for almost 60 years. She enjoyed oil painting and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Betty was the beloved wife of the late William H. Morgan, and the devoted mother of Paul W. Morgan and his wife Jeanne (Fitzmaurice) of Medford, Catherine M. Devaney and her husband Bobby of Billerica, Peter J. Morgan and his wife Patricia (Warren) of Arlington, Gregory J. Morgan of Medford, Larry P. Morgan of Billerica, and Thomas H. Morgan of Medford. She was the beloved grandmother of Jeffrey P. Morgan, Caitlin J.M. Murphy, Andrea M. McCarthy, Rachel M. Morgan, Joseph F. Morgan, and the loving great grandmother of Sadie, William, Andrew. Betty was the dear sister of F. Robert Rowe and his late wife Lena, and the late Sister Maureen Francis Rowe, and is survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, June 4th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday, June 3rd from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
