Obituary



Oxford – Thomas J. Beahn, 70, of Oxford and formerly of Worcester passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021 in Saint Vincent Hospital after an illness.

Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Jeannine (Soly) Beahn; five children, Shannon Bronzo and her spouse, Mark of Whitinsville, Shawn Beahn and his fiancé, Heather of Whitinsville, Jaclyn Beahn of Whitinsville, Michelle Brooks and her spouse, Scot of Oxford and Debra Soly and her spouse, Jill of Lowell; two brothers, Raymond “Sam” Beahn and his spouse, Karen of Spencer and James Beahn and his spouse, Pamela of Worcester; two sisters, Gail Brosnihan and her spouse, G. Timothy of Holden and Nancy Macaruso and her spouse, Anthony of Rutland; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.

Mr. Beahn was born in Worcester, son of the late Raymond and Agnes (Poplis) Beahn and is also predeceased by a daughter, Catherine Beahn. Tommy graduated from the former Worcester Boy’s Trade High School and then proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.

He worked for 39 years at the Wyman Gordon Company and retired in 2013. Tommy attended Saint Stephen’s Church in Worcester and was a member of the Elks Lodge #2118. He enjoyed going to his second home in Myrtle Beach and vacationing with his wife, especially on cruises and trips to Paradise Island. Tommy was an avid golfer and also played in softball and bowling leagues, but he was the happiest when he was spending time with his family.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Saint Stephen’s Church 357 Grafton St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 1, from 5 to 7 PM in the funeral home.
