David M. Casey, Jr.
Accomplished Athlete
David Martin Casey, Jr. age 64, a lifelong resident of Tewksbury, and Amateur Radio Enthusiast whose key went silent Tuesday, May 25, 2021, following a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Born in Chelsea on September 21, 1956, he was the son of Elinor (White) Casey of Tewksbury and the late David M. Casey.
David attended Tewksbury schools and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School.
During his high school years, he was an All-Star pitcher and member of the Tewksbury Redmen Baseball Team. David was an avid Boston Bruins and Boston Red Sox Fan.
Following high school, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Prior to his illness, he worked as an Industrial Spray Painter for Finish Unlimited Inc. Dracut Ma.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother, Gary M. Casey and his wife Tami of Pittsboro, NC; two sisters, Kelly M. Casey of Dracut and Katheryn M. Rollinson and her husband Mark of Huntsville, AL. He leaves several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and a nephew.
Family and friends will be received Wednesday, June 2, from 4-7 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury, followed by prayers to be offered at the funeral home.
