Beloved wife, mother, Christian sister and dearest friend Janet Carol Miller of Ventura, California, passed away on Thursday, May 20th, at the age of 78, at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, California.
Janet was born in Eugene, Oregon to Jim and Gladys Admire on January 30th, 1943. She went to high school at South Eugene High and later went back to earn her diploma at Ventura High School in 1977. She worked for Ventura Unified School District for 29 years, first working in the cafeteria at Anacapa Jr. High, and later as a bus driver for special needs children.
Janet, in her leisure time, enjoyed all types of travel, whether it was jumping in a car for a road trip, flying to Hawaii or boarding a cruise ship for adventures with her friends and family.
Janet is survived by husband, Rolf, of Ventura; son Thomas and daughter in law Susan, of Ventura; daughter Pamela, of Ventura; brothers Bill and Jack Admire of Oregon and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
To know Janet was to love her, and those who loved her will always miss the sound of her laugh, her voice and her unbelievable smile. If Janet loved you, you never doubted it.
