Mary A. (Riley) Robillard, 96, of New Bedford died May 21, 2021 at Sippican Healthcare Center.
She was the wife of the late Louis A. Robillard, with whom she shared 41 years of marriage.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late William E. and Mary G. (Metthe) Riley, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was formerly employed by Rodney Metals for 45 years until her retirement.
Mrs. Robillard was a daily communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.
She was a graduate of New Bedford High School, class of 1942.

Survivors include her 2 sons, Louis A. Robillard, Jr. and his wife Michele of New Bedford and Arthur W. Robillard and his wife Susan of Warner Robins, GA; 8 grandchildren, Sherry Robillard, Nicholas Robillard, Erin (Robillard) Melton, Scott Strong, Keith Strong, Scott Conceicao, Geoffrey Conceicao and Brian Conceicao; 13 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late William E. Riley, Jr. and Irene Helmer, great-grandmother of the late Christopher Lane Melton and sister-in-law of the late Doris Cote.
Her Funeral will be held on Thursday, May 27th at 9 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by her Funeral Mass at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday May 26th from 4-7 PM. Masks will be required to enter the funeral home and church.
