George F. Liarikos, III, 66, of Fall River died Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Charlton Memorial Hospital after a period of declining health.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Joan (Saunders) Liarikos and the late George F. Liarikos, Jr., he lived in the New Bedford area for most of his life.
George was formerly employed as a commercial fisherman for many years. He also enjoyed woodworking and carpentry.
He is survived by his mother, Joan of Rochester; his step-daughter, Kendra Costa of New Bedford and her daughter, Juelyzia; his sister, Jo-Ann O'Malley and her husband David of Rochester; his brother, Peter Liarikos of Nashua, NH; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, George, his sisters, Karen Liarikos-Mayall and Susan Fortin, and his companion, Helia daSilva.
His Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 10 AM at St. Francis Xavier Church in Acushnet with everyone meeting directly at Church. Burial will follow in Tabor Cemetery, Acushnet. For online guestbook, visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
