Jennie I. Mazzella, age 95, of Boston, passed away on May 18, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Mazzella. Loving mother of Concetta Devine “Connie”, Shirley Musto and Linda Mazzella. Grandmother of Joseph Musto and his wife Jay of Boston and the late Karen Devine and Frankie Devine. Great grandmother of Joseph and Jenna Musto. Jennie had a passion for gardening and she was an entrepreneur who started Walk Hill Florist with her husband in 1940. She took care of everyone including the sick, she loved to cook, sing, and travel. Jennie was a jane of all trades establishing and running a successful business while raising her family. She was an altruistic lady who helped many and was supportive of her community. She also survived WWII. Visiting hours will be held at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home, 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Sunday, May 23 from 2-6PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Name Church, 1689 Centre St. West Roxbury on Monday, May 24 at 10AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will take place at New Calvary Cemetery.
