Obituary
Mrs. Murphy died Sunday morning at her home under the care of Old Colony Hospice. She was born in Brockton daughter of the late James A. and Frances M. (Lawlor) Skinner and remained a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1941.
For over 25 years Mrs. Murphy was employed by the City of Brockton in the Assessors Office. She was a founding member and past president of the City Hall Employees Union. Previously she worked in the office of Douglas Shoe Company.
She was a communicant of St. Nicholas ChurchShe is survived by her 3 sons as above.3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildrenOne sister Dorothy Odiorne of Virginia Beach, VA and one brother Edmund Skinner of Hyannis.Several nieces and nephewsShe was the sister of the late Frances Lombardi, James Skinner, Irwin Skinner, Lorraine Skinner and Helen Skinner
