Manchester– Perley R. Jobin, 77, passed away May 17, 2021 in the comfort of his home surrounded by loving family, following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Manchester on November 26, 1943 one of many children of Arthur and Edith (Rivet) Jobin.
He was a graduate of Manchester Memorial High School, class of 1962.
He served his country proudly in the U. S. Marine Corps.
Prior to his retirement he was employed by the United Brother’s of Carpenter Workers Local 40 in Cambridge, MA. He was also the co-owner of Leo & Perley’s Detailing.
He held membership in the American Legion Henry J. Sweeney Post 2, Davignon Club and Mont Royale.
Family members include his loving wife of 41 years, Collette (Lamy) Jobin, son; Marcel A. Kidder- Jobin and husband Charles Kidder, daughter; Justine L. Jobin and her wife Kathy Curtis, his loving sister in law, Deborah Oxley, brother, Edward Jobin (Louise) of Illinois and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 4 to 7 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A graveside committal service will take place on May 20, 2021 at 11 am in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
